As opposed to many who reviewed this guide, I have no knowledge with meditation, so Mindfulness for Beginners promised to be able to be a great launch, particularly given the good reputation of the author. Now that I've read it, however, I don't think it is the optimal book for all those with no understanding of or experience with meditation. I found the book to be a spread collection of somewhat random reflections on mindfulness that seem more appropriate when you have already started a meditation practice. Even though the particular author writes "we will certainly be exploring together the particular subject of mindfulness since if you'd never observed about it together no idea what it is or, for instance, why it might be worth integrating into your life, " the book lacked the particular structure and organization to be able to meet that goal. The particular author points out that everything is explained within much greater detail in several of his previous publications, and I am pondering about turning to these people looking for a more coherent presentation.

Even though the entire book can be read within an hour (most chapters are only one or even two pages), I avoid think there would become much take advantage of reading it in one sitting.
